Brian Miller

Originally from Massachusetts, Brian Miller is a Los Angeles based film editor, working mainly in visual effects editing for major motion pictures and commercials, and more recently virtual reality projects.  Having gotten his start at the Institute for Creative Technologies at USC, where he was introduced to the technology of immersive media, he went on to hone his technical and creative skills at leading production and post-production houses, among them Digital Domain, Pixomondo, Magnopus, and Blur.

Brian’s technical proficiency and eye for precision can be seen in the elegant and seamless visual storytelling he does using specialized technological methods and creative editing. An esteemed visual effects editor, he has been on three Oscar-winning visual effects teams, starting with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in 2009, and going to include Hugo in 2011 and The Jungle Book in 2017.

Because he is passionate about the craft of storytelling, Brian is always interested in how to integrate the best and most advanced technologies into his work. Most recently he created a virtual reality docu-style series for the NFL.  He has brought the same curiosity and innovative style to his work on commercial projects for Chaos Group, EA Games, Google, Nokia, Puma, Reebok, Samsung, Vitaminwater, and XBOX.
