Brian Miller
Originally from Massachusetts, Brian Miller is a Los Angeles based VFX editor. Having gotten his start at the Institute for Creative Technologies at USC, where he was introduced to the technology of immersive media, he went on to hone his technical and creative skills at leading post-production houses, including Digital Domain, Pixomondo, Magnopus, and Blur Studios. Brian is now an active VFX editor in the Motion Picture Editors Guild IATSE Locale 700 and has worked for
Brian’s technical proficiency and eye for precision can be seen in the elegant and seamless visual storytelling he does using specialized technological methods and creative editing. An esteemed visual effects editor, he has been on three Oscar-winning visual effects teams, starting with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in 2009, and going to include Hugo in 2011 and The Jungle Book in 2017.
Because he is passionate about the craft of storytelling, Brian is always interested in how to integrate the best and most advanced technologies into his work. Most recently he created a virtual reality docu-style series for the NFL. He has brought the same curiosity and innovative style to his work on commercial projects for Chaos Group, EA Games, Google, Nokia, Puma, Reebok, Samsung, Vitaminwater, and XBOX.
